Chumoukedima, September 23 (MExN): DC Polan John, NCS, convened a review meeting at the DC office in Chumoukedima to discuss critical issues related to NH-29. The meeting focused on the removal of overhanging rocks, the restoration of two-lane works, and travel advisories along the highway. Attendees included key officials such as the ADC Medziphema, EAC Seithekema, police representatives, and members from the PWD NH, as well as local stakeholders from Chumoukedima and New Chumoukedima village. The meeting featured a brainstorming session aimed at identifying specific problems and formulating actionable steps to expedite restoration efforts.
