Kohima, March 22 (DIPR): A review meeting on various activities relating to pre-monsoon preparedness for maintenance of roads, strengthening of various bridges, culverts etc., was held with the various departmental officers under Kohima district on March 21 at DC’S Conference Hall, Kohima
Interacting with the officers, DC Kohima, Rajesh Soundararajan, IAS, directed the NHIDCL, EE PWD (NH), EE (R & B), BRTF, EE (Power) to complete all related works by 20th April, 2018. He further directed all concern to submit an action taken report on the matter. Highlighting the condition of the roads in the past years and the problems faced by the people, he urged them to prepare maintenance plans, schedule and take responsibility in ensuring timely completion of the works.
Issues relating to road maintenance, retaining walls along the National Highways, power line, repairing of potholes etc., were deliberated in the meeting. General Manager (Project), NHIDCL, BO Dimapur, ADC, Chiephobozou, SDO (C), SechuZubza, EE PWD (NH), Kohima and EE Power, Kohima also raised issues of concern and their plans to the house.
