Mokokchung, November 29 (DIPR): As per the Election Commission notification, the State Election Commissioner has directed the revision of the Electoral Roll for Mokokchung Municipal council by way of Special Revision with reference to January 1, 2016 as the qualifying date according to the scheduled given below:
Draft Publication of Electoral Roll on November 25, period for lodging claims and objection from November 26 to December 5, period for disposal of claims and objection from December 6 to 12, period for filling appeal to the respective Appellate Authority from December 13 to 17, disposal of claims and objection by Appellate Authority on December 15 and final publication of Electoral Roll on December 20.
State Election Commission has also directed that no BLOs and supervisors will be appointed for the Special Revision and the applicants and objectors need to individually approach the respective AEROs for their claims and objections.
The Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs) involved in the Summary Revision of Electoral Rolls for different wards will be as follows: AERO for Alempang, Alongmen, Sungkomen and Tongdentsuyong wards will be T. Lemlila Sangtam, SDO (C), AERO for Dilong, Salangtem, Sangtemla and Penli wards will be Livitoli Sukhalu, EAC, AERO for Arkong, Artang, Majakong, Marepkong and Lijaba Lijem wards will be Daneil Angami, EAC and AERO for Yimyu, Kichutip, Aongza, Kumlong and Mongsenbai wards will be Tongdiba Tongpi EAC.
