Riding test for two-wheeler taxi permits in Wokha on May 20

Wokha, May 18 (MExN): The Regional Transport Authority (RTA) Office, Wokha, has informed that the riding test for applicants seeking two-wheeler taxi permits will be conducted on May 20 at the office compound of the District Transport Officer (DTO), Wokha, from 10 am onwards.

According to the authority, the test will be conducted under the supervision of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement) as convenor, with the Enforcement Inspector and Motor Vehicle Inspector serving as members. The Extra Assistant Commissioner (Transport) has been assigned to oversee and supervise the smooth conduct of the process.

The authority informed that two-wheelers would be provided at the venue for the test. However, candidates may also bring their own two-wheelers, provided the engine capacity is 125 cc or above.
It further stated that any damage caused to department-provided two-wheelers during the test would have to be borne by the concerned candidate.

The department also clarified that no TA/DA would be admissible for appearing in the test and that it would not be held responsible for any injury, accident or mishap during the process.

Candidates have been directed to bring two recent passport-size photographs along with a valid government-issued identity proof and report to the venue on time while complying with all instructions issued by the authority.
