Dimapur, June 3 (MExN): The Rongmei Indigenous Forum Nagaland (RIFN) has mourned the demise of T Bangerloba, former President of Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) on June 2.
“He was a thorough gentleman and a man of principle. During his tenure as the President of NCD, he has contributed to the upliftment of Dimapur city. He never encouraged the practice of tribalism. He was truly a leader for the Dimapurians, his patient and endurance during the crisis had set an example for the presence leaders,” Media Cell, RIFN stated in a press release.
“In his demise we have lost a leader of great personality who could be an inspiration and a good advisor to the society we live in. We convey our deepest condolences to the bereaved family and pray for his departed soul rest in peace,” the forum stated in its press note.
