Dimapur, October 21 (MExN): Higher secondary students from Rincho Academy, Dimapur returned from a four-day camping programme held at Nzü Phenshunyü in Tseminyu District from October 17 to 20.

The programme took students out of the classroom and into the forest, aiming to build cultural appreciation, biodiversity awareness, and hands-on craft skills connected to their classroom studies. It also gave them a break from gadgets and screens.

Over the four days, students learned basic jungle survival, Naga history, and the value of teamwork and respect for the environment. They worked directly with local craftspeople, learning from their knowledge and practice, stated a press release received here.

Faculty members supervised the camp, with craftspeople guiding the craft sessions and a doctor available throughout.
