Rio announces launch of NEIF 2025

Kohima, December 1 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio on Monday announced the launch of Nagaland Entrepreneurship Impact Forward (NEIF) 2035 in Kohima.

According to an update received here, it stated that the NEIF 2035 is the state’s flagship program to drive a decade-long economic transformation anchored in entrepreneurship and community-led growth.

It informed that a Letter of Intent ( LoI) was signed between the Department of Industries and Commerce, Government of Nagaland, YouthNet, and Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship (GAME) to formally establish the collaborative framework for the initiative.  

It stated that the parties have partnered to initiate NEIF 2035 to accelerate entrepreneurship and build a vibrant, community-driven economy through focused pilots in priority sectors—honey, coffee, chilli, crafts, and eco-tourism—while strengthening clean energy access, logistics networks, and design and skills development through the Naturally Nagaland platform. 

Furthermore, it stated that the initiative aims to identify and strengthen 10,000 entrepreneurs and create 50,000 livelihoods by 2035 through a coordinated effort across departments, partners, and communities.
