
DIMAPUR, APRIL 19 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Thursday called on Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh at the latter’s North Block office in New Delhi. Rio was accompanied by Kazheto Kinimi, Advisor, Skill Development, Labour and Employment and CAWD.
The chief minister apprised Singh on the need for modernization and infrastructural development of all the district administrative headquarters in the state, a press note from PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi, Kuolie Mere informed.
Rio, who is also the President of Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA), also attended a function hosted in honour of the visit of Thomas Bach, President, International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Sheikh Ahmad Al-Sabah, President, Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) at The Hotel Lalit, New Delhi in the lunch meeting of all National Sports Federations and State Olympic Associations, the press note added.
