In an election campaign trail to 15th Southern Angami II A/C today for NDPP candidate Er. Zale Neikha in Kidima and Viswema, NDPP-BJP alliance chief ministerial candidate Neiphiu Rio accused that the incumbent government lacks vision and weak leadership and playing money politics are its hallmark.
He was confident that the NDPP-BJP alliance will get absolute majority and is on the race to form the next government.
Rio informed that the NDPP manifesto which was released in Zunheboto on Saturday focuses on decisive leadership, stable government and visionary policies. He said the aspiration of NDPP is to establish appropriate leadership, stable government and to lead the people in the right perspective.
He called upon the people of the constituency to elect Er. Zale Neikha and be part of the ruling government to access development and progress together
Ex-MLA Neiphrezo Keditsu in his speech called upon the people not to miss the golden opportunity this time and be part of the positive change.
Rio, he said, has already been elected unopposed and set to become chief minister.
Dr. Neiphrezo also appealed to the electorates to vote for Er. Zale to strengthen the leadership of Rio.
Er. Neikha assured that he will put his best effort to serve the people based on NDPP motto ‘Facta of Non Verba: Deeds not words.’
Announcing that he is contesting election with "Youth empowerment” as his top most priority, the candidate assured if elected he will fulfill the requirements of the youth and take them forward.
“Pray for me, pray for Rio, pray for NDPP- BJP alliance and party workers to emerge victorious and enjoy the fruits together,” he urged.
Seeking the support of the people to elect Er. Zale for change and overall development of the constituency, Dr. Atha Vizol said, “Change is coming. Rio is coming. Development is coming.”
Vilahosa Luho from Khuzama also spoke at the rally.
