Rio mourns demise of Akruzo Putsüre

Kohima, May 6 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio has mourned the sudden demise of  Akruzo Putsüre, the president of the Nagaland Flowers Growers Association, Kohima, May 3.  

In a condolence note, Rio described late Akruzo as a gifted, hardworking and an enterprising woman, who served the state Government in the capacity of administrative assistant for some few years, but her “interest and love for flowers took her to greater heights.” Among others, she supervised the flower plantations at the new Secretariat Complex. On a personal note, Rio said that late Akruzo’s husband (late) Norman Putsüre was the bestman at his wedding day.

“Our parents were family friends and we shared close bonds since our young days. I deeply value our relationship with their family and will always cherish the memorable times over the past years,” Rio said. 

“In this hour of mourning, I, along with my wife and family members extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. It is my humble prayer that Almighty God will give them strength and courage to hear the irreparable loss,” he condoled.
