Dimapur, November 11 (MExN): Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio expressed grief at the demise of former MLA Langkham Kuki who passed away yesterday at Medziphema at the age of 86 years. “Late Langkham Kuki joined active politics and was elected as MLA for three consecutive terms from 1964 from Ghaspani-I Assembly Constituency on NNO ticket,” the chief minister said in a note today. During his active political career, Rio said, Kuki served the people with utmost sincerity and contributed to their welfare especially during the infant stages of the state.
