Dimapur, August 2 (MExN): Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio condoles the demise of a former government officer A Shanmugam, IAS (retired), who passed away in Chennai. The former officer was secretary to chief minister as well as commissioner & secretary for Information & Publicity and Tourism of the state government.
“Late Shri. Shanmugam was a sincere, hardworking and an upright officer who reached such high levels in the government by dint of his merit, sincerity and dedication. As one of the pioneering officers, the valuable contributions made by Shri Shanmugam will be long remembered by the people of the state,” Neiphiu Rio stated in a condolence message today.
The CM conveys deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved family and prays for peace of the departed soul.
