KOHIMA: The rank and file of the NPF Central Headquarters has sent a congratulatory message to Neiphiu Rio and expressed deepest appreciation and gratitude for all the good work that he has done for the Nagas and beyond.
A press release from the party’s press bureau stated Rio has “provided peace, political stability, visionary policies and progressive programmes as Chief Minister.”
“Vibrant, dynamic and visionary Neiphiu Rio, zealously willing to sacrifice for the cause of the people, and determined to work in an upgraded manner, took this bolt decision, and the party and the people strongly believe that his presentation in the Parliament (Lok Sabha) will bring about multidimensional benefits to Nagaland and the North East Region,” the press bureau stated.
The NPF press bureau further acknowledged the Home Minister, G. Kaito, the Commissioner & State Returning Officer, and the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland, for their firm, uncompromising determination in safeguarding law and order and protecting “the rightful voters of Ladigarh under 49 A/C Tamlu Sub-division,” and the public, for ensuring an atmosphere conducive for “smooth and fair polling.”
