Rivenburg School celebrates Silver Jubilee

Medziphema, September 14 (MExN): Rivenburg School commemorated its Silver Jubilee celebration with a formal function and feast on September 14, at the school premises, Medziphema. Jubilee Souvenir was released by Rev Zhabu Terhüja.  

Speaking at the function, Founder and former Principal of Rivenburg School, Keviyato Whiso reminiscing about the early years of the School which started with 32 students, shared a brief history about the American missionary Reverend Sidney Rivenburg after whom the school was christened.  

Keviyato while expressing his happiness for the School’s completion of 25 years of existence wished the School and the Management greater success in the future. Exhorting the gathering, Ar. Richard Belho, AV Educational Trust conveyed his greetings to the guests and students and shared the visions of the School, stressing on the need for Schools to bring out abled and skilled individuals by educating and honing the students through improved system of teaching. Acknowledging the founder Keviyato Whiso for his vision in bringing forth a centre of learning for the denizens of Medziphema and its neighbouring villages, he reiterated the School's vision in not just giving quality education to students but also making the School a Centre for skill-development.  

The programme also witnessed songs and cultural dance from the students. Welcome address was delivered by Nukshisenla Walling, vote of thanks was delivered by Headmaster T Sanjit Singh. Pastor Megozakho Hozoyeh pronounced the benediction which was followed by Jubilee Feast.
