Memorandum submitted, Gov assures proper roads at the earliest
Guwahati, November 2 (MExN): The Rengma Naga Peoples’ Council (RNPC) met Governor of Assam and Nagaland Prof Jagdish Mukhi at Raj Bhavan Guwahati on November 2 and submitted a memorandum drawing his attention towards the development needs of the people.
The Council stated that other issues were also discussed in brief with the Governor, who insisted that demands for a minimum requirement be made as it is not possible to carry out complete development of the region at one go due to fund restrictions.

Besides, the RNPC also appealed to the Governor for considering a regional council for the Rengma Nagas as per provisions of the 6th schedule, Aga Rengma General Secretary RNPC informed in a press release on Tuesday.
