KOHIMA, Dec 17 (MExN): The State government yesterday maintained that most of the roads like National Highway, State Highway, circular and town roads at Kohima, Dimapur, Mokokchung and other townships are being encroached by private construction and developments. Normally, when such encroachments are noticed, the concerned EEs report the matter to the local administrative authorities to stop such encroachments/eviction, Minister for Road & Bridges Tokheho Yepthomi told the assembly session Friday. Congress legislator Takamasa strongly viewed that the government should take up the matter with seriousness and find out ways and means to stop such re-occurrence.
