ROB Kohima organizes outreach prog

DIMAPUR, FEBRUARY 28 (MExN): The Regional Outreach Bureau (ROB) under the Ministry of information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Kohima organised an Integrated Communication & Outreach Programme on Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat at St. Joseph School, Kohima on February 28. 

The event is being held to highlight on the state of Madhya Pradesh, which has partnered with Nagaland under Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat with a view to strengthen cultural relations between the two states, promote national integration, showcase the rich heritage and culture and celebrate unity in diversity. 

Sensitizing the students on the state of Madhya Pradesh, resource person, R Khyonthunglo highlighted the various components of the state, including its geography, language, culture and tradition, cuisine, important places and events. 

A quiz competition on the state of Madhya Pradesh was held to mark the occasion. Muyozo of Class 8 secured the first position; Khushe (Class 9) secured second position while Ravolhuto bagged the third prize. 

The programme was chaired by Mathang Kikon, Principal, St. Joseph School while vote of thanks was proposed by Moses Pfote, School Administrator.
