Rocklore 2018- the 5th edition of North East Indigenous Music Festival will be a conglomeration of top notch bands of the region on July 5 at Don Bosco Institute Hall in Don Bosco School Compound, from 6:00 pm onwards. The organisers informed in a press release that the date is fixed during the World Cup break and the entry is free. This year’s lineup for the festival are Ambush (Diphu), Fiddlecraft (Pune), Wine O’Clock (Guwahati), Shape A Shade (Dimapur), Tune Up Channel (Mokokchung), Frozen Heart (Dimapur),Brainstorm Island (Kohima) and Abiogenesis (Dimapur). There are two more artistes to be announced, one each by Songdew (New Delhi) and ICCR Shillong. Songdew TV, the new satellite Indie Music TV channel will cover the festival. North East Indigenous Music Festival is presented by Abiogenesis Society with support from North East Council, Shillong.
