WOKHA, November 15 (MExN): The Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) team led by MLA Dr. Chumben Murry and Deputy Commissioner Wokha Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon (IAS) visited Dr. Motsuo Memorial District Hospital Wokha on November 14.
Mhonbeni Ezung, Media Officer (NHM), CMO Office Wokha in a press release stated that the purpose of the visit was to interact with the medical officers pertaining to service delivery and on the problems, difficulties and constraints faced while performing duties- shortage of manpower, equipments, staff quarter etc.
MLA Dr Chumben Murry stressed on the importance of communication between doctors, and patient party which plays a vital role during examination and treatment process. He suggested that Review of Deaths meeting to be held so as to analyze the case and take corrective measures and also for record keeping. Dr. Murry assured that any assistance needed for developing and improving the health facility he as RKS committee member will stand on behalf of the Hospital.
Deputy Commissioner Dr. Manazir Jeelani Samoon (IAS) shared about the Ayushman Bharat- National Health Protection Mission (NHPM) that every household included in the beneficiary list should benefit from the programme and more sensitization awareness to create in obtaining the Health Insurance scheme. Further on he assured the Hospital staffs full security and support from the District administration for their safety and smooth functioning of the hospital. Medical Superintendent and Doctors shared their grievances and had a fruitful interaction.
