Rotary Club awards Government school teachers

Dimapur, September 9 (MExN): Rotary Club of Dimapur celebrated International Literacy Day on September 8 by felicitating and awarding 5 outstanding teachers of various Government schools in Dimapur at Rotary Centre, Midland, Dimapur.  

The function was organized under T-E-A-C-H Program of Rotary India Literacy Mission (RILM), informed a press release from Sanjay Sethi, Chairman, Rotary Club of Dimapur.  

The following awardees were honoured with RILM Certificates & Rotary 4-way Test Mementos: Temsunaro Jamir of Govt.High School, Lengrijan; Akato of Govt. Middle School, Zeliangrong; Esther of Govt. Primary School, Lengrijan; Yondella Ovung of Govt. Primary & Middle School, Duncan; Moala Panger of Govt. Middle School, Midland.  

International Literacy Day at Phek Govt College

Phek, September 9 (MExN): Commemorating the International Literacy Day on September 8, the Phek Government College conducted various literary activities like quiz, extempore speech, slogan writing, essay writing, singing competition etc. at the college. Handsome prizes were given at the end of the programme to the winners, according to a press release received here. The following day, motivational talk on Skill Development was held with Gideon L Sumi, District Employment Officer, Phek as the resource person followed by interactive session at the end of the talk. Mhashevolu Medeo Asst. Professor, chaired the programme, where the college Principal gave the welcome note, and Dr. Atoholi Sema, Asst. Professor pronounced the concluding remarks.
