Constructed by the Rotary Club of Dimapur (RCD), MLA and Advisor, Power, H. Tovihoto Ayemi on Saturday inaugurated Water Drinking Facility and Toilet Block cum Waiting Shed at Khermahal near Hotel Tragopan.
Speaking at a brief programme at the venue, Tovihoto lauded the initiatives taken by RCD for the welfare of the society. He expressed the hope that the RCD would continue its good works for the people. Facilities such as clean drinking water are basic necessities which the citizens need, he said.
“We cannot depend everything on the government and I am happy to notice that there are many organizations and communities coming together to do something good for the society,” Tovihoto said expressing optimism that many more of such efforts would be forthcoming.
Dimapur Municipal Council, Administrator, Moa Sangtam also spoke during the programme.
Rotarian, Chandu Agarwal presented a report on the construction of the multi utility spot.
