Kohima, July 30 (MExN): The 23rd installation ceremony of the Rotary Club Kohima, RID 3240 was held with Past Assistant Governor Rtn. Dr. Nitin Agarwal as the special guest at Don Bosco College, Kohima on July 29.
Speaking at the ceremony, Agarwal lauded the Rotary Club Kohima for their effortless contributions to various projects taken up for the service of the people till date.
Wishing the new team installed, he urged them to continue to do yeoman service and work together with the community.
Earlier, newly installed president, Rtn. Kevino Savino in her acceptance speech reminded that Rotary Club is more than an organization, it is a realization that every members has a mission to contribute for humanity as the motto stands “ Service Above self.”
She stated that the new team will join hands to lead, serve, empower and unite the people.
During the ceremony, 4 new members and 2 honorary members of DBS were inducted in the club.
Rotary Club Kohima has undertaken free Tailoring unit and altogether a total of 80 women has been trained including mothers, children and drop outs.
Meanwhile, tailoring certificates were also handed to this year successful trainees.
