Royal Club Kohima members during 37th Raising Day.

The Royal Club Kohima (RCK) observed its 37th Raising Day on November 1 at Ruliezou, Kohima with Thejao Vihienuo, president, Angami Public Organization as the main speaker.
Addressing the Club members, Vihienuo, dwelled on the genesis of the Club history vis-a-vis the legacy of the Club activities including conducting the prestigious Royal Gold Cup, an AIFF affiliated tournament.
He stated that the founding members were driven by a desire and the common purpose gave birth to the Club adding that the purpose was neither financial benefit nor status but to impact the society.
Reminding the Club members that the Club had been without action for long, he urged upon the members to rededicate themselves, rediscover the passion and rejuvenate their determination.
Also exhorting the gathering, Er Khupi Natso, Rtd Engineer—in-Chief stressed the concept of health issues and medical complications which many may face with aging.
Outlining his own medical prognosis and endurance, he had undergone, he reminded of Gods providence and goodness to the gathering.
The day was also marked by discussion on general awareness on current issues confronting Naga society
This was followed by announcement of new office bearers for the tenure 2024-2027 headed by Kesao Kesiezie as president, Ruokuo Kire as vice president, Kenny Peseyie as general secretary and Neibao Nakhro as treasurer.
The programme was chaired by Kepelhutuo Nakhro, Vice President, invocation by Viechuhu Liezietsu and presidential address by T Abao Kire while general secretary and treasurer report were highlighted by Kenny Peseyie and Ahelie Theyo respectively.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Atsuu Miachieo and benediction by Ruokuo Kire.
