Royal FC Dimapur emerged champion of the penalty shootout competition organised by Nagaland Spotlight Connect at Junkyard Turf, Dimapur.
Dimapur, October 22 (MExN): A total of 23 teams went head-to-head in a penalty shootout competition, “Pressure Kicks,” organised by Nagaland Spotlight Connect at Junkyard Turf, Dimapur.
After an intense series of shootouts, Royal FC Dimapur emerged champions, defeating Jitiva FC in the final to claim the top honours. The winning team walked away with a cash prize of Rs 50,000, while the runners-up received Rs 20,000.
The “Best Goalkeeper” title went to a standout performer from Royal FC, who played a decisive role in the team’s victory.
Held on October 20, 2025, the event drew an enthusiastic crowd and further highlighted the growing interest in grassroots football competitions across the district.
