MALIGAON, OCTOBER 28 (MExN): Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the National Rozgar Mela via video conferencing today on October 28. He distributed more than 51, 000 appointment letters to newly inducted recruits in various Government departments and organizations. The new recruits selected from across the country will join various positions/posts in various ministries under Government of India.
The Rozgar Mela in North-Eastern region was hosted by NF Railway in Siliguri, Guwahati and Dimapur. Sarbananda Sonowal, Union Minister of Ports, Shipping & Waterways and Ayush handed over the appointment letters to the newly selected candidates at Maligaon, Guwahati in presence of Queen Oja, MP/Guwahati and senior railway officials.
Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas & Ministry of Labour and Employment handed over the appointment letters at Dimapur while Nisith Pramanik, Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Sports & Youth Affairs, Govt of India distributed the appointment letters at Siliguri programme.
Of over 51,000 appointment orders in various departments, more than 14, 000 are from Railways. In Guwahati 101, Dimapur 110 and in Siliguri 68 appointment letters were handed over to the newly appointed candidates, a press statement issued by NFR CPRO informed.
While addressing at Guwahati, the Union Minister congratulated the newly recruited youths, urged them to work hard with dedication to make India Atmanirbhar. He mentioned that, Rozgar Mela had created a new energy among the youths. The Minister also thanked N. F. Railway for hosting the Rozgar Mela.
