Maligaon, November 14 (MExN): The Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel of Guwahati railway station arrested Narul Ahmad (36) for stealing the mobile phone of an African football player Lawal Mutiu Adjibola (29) on November 11 around 9:50 am at platform 1 of Guwahati railway station. The arrested person was handed over to the police and a case registered against him. The RPF in a Ticket Checking Drive for NF Railways from November 5 to 11 apprehended 111 ticketless travellers and fine to the tune of Rs. 41,455/- was realized from the offenders. The RPF also arrested 27 persons for needlessly interfering with the Alarm Chain and prosecuted them under section 141 Railways Act.
