RPP extends Christmas greetings to Nagaland citizens

DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): The Rising People’s Party (RPP) has extended heartiest of greetings to the people of Nagaland for Christmas and the New Year.

The RPP, after a year and a half of its existence, is full of gratitude to the people of Nagaland for all the support shown towards the party, a press release from the party stated. It acknowledged the fact that without the support of the people, it would have been impossible to expose “all the acts of corruption and misgovernance being committed by the ruling government such as ghost projects, decades long incomplete multi-crore buildings, corruption cases involving ED, fuel adulteration racket, rampant backdoor appointments, COVID controversies, and so forth.”

The RPP also lauded the support of various student organisations and pressure groups which ultimately led to the High court ordering the functioning of the NSSB. In fact, the functioning of the NSSB has proven to be a boon for the under privileged sections of the society, who now have a chance through free and fair recruitment examinations as opposed to the previous system of appointing well-connected candidates in the guise of departmental exams, it stated.

The RPP said that it believes in the strength of people’s power to bring about much needed electoral revolution. “So as we gear up for the next election which is just around the corner, the RPP urges the people of Nagaland not be persuaded by money, clan, village/tribe politics and instead resolveto embrace fairness in the true Christian spirit,” it appealed. Only when we elect sincere and God fearing leaders can we expect the right kind of changes required for Nagaland to progress, the RPP stressed.

The RPP prayed that the “spirit of Christmas may infuse everyone’s life with hope, positivity and joy.”
