Student members of Red Ribbon Club from Unity College, Dimapur, during the awareness programme on blood donation, held on June 18.
Dimapur, June 20 (MExN): Under the aegis of NSACS, the Red Ribbon Club of Unity College, Dimapur, organized an awareness programme on Blood Donation on June 18, 2011 in the college. A press note issued by Thungbeni Humtsoe, Co-ordinator, Red Ribbon Club, Unity College stated that Dr. Temsu MO Blood Bank I/C District Hospital, Dimapur, the resource person for the programme gave a power point presentation highlighting the importance of blood donation and enlightened the gathering for a change in common misconception and perspective.
An extempore speech competition was also conducted where Koramensang Aien (B.A. III), Wilson Odyuo (B.A. I) and Ozhu Ropfuno (B.A III) were adjudged the 1st, 2nd & 3rd prize winners, respectively.
