DIMAPUR, SEPTEMBER 4 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister has expressed gratitude to the citizen of the country for coming forward and making contributions for relief and restoration operations in Nagaland. A DIPR report stated that in the last 4 days, a total amount of Rs 45. 50 lakh have been received from contributors apart from 1.25 crore received from Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. Out of this, direct contribution to CM Relief Fund Bank Account amounted to Rs. 15.69 lakh; online contribution through Air Pay Link- Rs 23.20 lakh and contribution through PayTM app - Rs 6.81 lakh. From the total amount, Rs. 10 lakh was given to Kiphire district. Payments for CM Relief Fund can be made through Credit Card, Debit Card, Netbanking, Amazon Pay, OLA Money, Jio Money and PayTM. All contributions are 100% exempt from Income Tax as per 80G (2) of Income Tax Act.
