Rs 190 Cr for medical college in Nagaland

NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 20 (MExN): An amount of Rs. 190 crore has been sanctioned for Nagaland State’s first medical college, while another Rs 45 crore has been sanctioned for a tertiary Cancer center. This was informed through a press note from the PRO, Nagaland House Delhi, who also informed that Nagaland Health Minister, Imkong L Imchen had met with the Union Health Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad in Delhi on February 19. The note stated that Imchen conveyed his gratitude to the Union Minister on behalf of the DAN government and the people of Nagaland state for sanctioning the projects. The Union Minister informed that the central government’s share in the project will be 90 percent, while the State’s share will be 10 percent.
