Rs 2 crore sanctioned for horti-link roads in Nagaland

Nagaland Horticulture & Women Resource Development Minister Salhoutuonuo Kruse today said that an amount of Rs 200 lakh has been sanctioned during 2025-26 for construction of ten Horti Link roads in Nagaland under the State Plan (RIDF-NABARD).

Replying to the starred question raised by MLA Naiba Konyak at the ongoing 8th session of 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) here, the minister informed that out of the 10 Horti-Link roads sanctioned during 2025-26, 1 (one)

Horti-Link road was allotted to Mon district and one horti link road was allotted to Kiphire district.

No link roads were allotted to Longleng, Noklak, Tuensang and Shamator districts during 2025-26, she stated.

She stated that Rs 20 lakh each was sanctioned during 2025-26 for construction of horti-link road at Rüsoma village, Kohima, Horti-Link road at Khehoi village, Chümoukedima, Horti-Link road at Changchor village, Kiphire, Horti-Link road at N Longidang village, Wokha, Horti-Link road at Old Mpai village, Peren, Horti-Link road at Chümou A village, Chümoukedima, Horti-Link road at Chingha village, Mon, Horti-Link road at Hokiye village, Zunheboto, Horti-Link road at Gariphema village, Kohima and Horti-Link road at Mesulumi village, Phek.

Kruse informed the House that a proposal for Horti-Link roads during 2026-27 has been submitted under the Sectoral Outlay through RIDF (NABARD).

Replying to supplementary question for construction of Horti Link road for 55th Tobu A/C, the Minister assured that she will see to it.
