
Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): Neiba Kronu, Minister for Planning and Coordination informed the government’s decision to earmark Rs 50 lakh from the total allocation of Rs 150 lakh per Assembly Constituency for Local Area Development Programme (LADP) fund for implementation of projects for strengthening health infrastructure and quarantine facilities for COVID-19 and for certain activities under the agri allied sectors. This was informed during the briefing in the State capital on May 21, according to a DIPR report. The upper ceiling of expenditure for quarantine facilities will be Rs 10 lakh and for the agri allied activities will be Rs 15 lakh. The remaining balance out of Rs 50 lakh will be used for strengthening health infrastructure. The detailed guidelines in this regard will be issued by Planning Department, the report added.
