Dimapur, May 21 (MExN): The Rongmei Students’ Organisation Nagaland (RSON) has condemned the alleged attempt to rape of a woman by one Neitsu Angami on May 12 at Meriema, Kohima. In a condemnation note, the organization termed the act “uncivilized, inhuman and criminal”. The victim, it stated, has been traumatized by the incident. The note issued by RSON General Secretary, Kambuiga Dangmei further appealed to the authority and law enforcing agency concerned to book the accused according to the law. It also urged the Police and Administration not to grant bail to the accused, but bring justice to the victim and her family at the earliest.
