Kohima, May 8 (MExN): The Rengma Students’ Union (RSU) is all set to celebrate its platinum jubilee cum 41st general conference from May 12 to 14 at RSA Ground, Tseminyu.
Nagaland’s PWD (Housing & Mechanical) minister Tongpang Ozukum will be the honoured guest for the platinum jubilee while Nagaland’s animal husbandry &veterinary services and women resources development advisor R Khing will be the special guest for the general conference. Tseminyu deputy commissioner Dr Zasekuolie Chusi will be the special guest for the inaugural session.
Dr Benny Prasad, missionary and world record holder, Bengaluru will be the special guest for culture session while Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) president Kegwayhun Tep will be the special guest for valedictory session.
Jonathan Mesen, Youth Secretary, CRBC, Zunpha, Tseminyu and Dr GT Thong, professor Nagaland University will be the theme and conference speaker respectively. Among others, the celebration will witness penal discussion on “Vision & roadmap for Tseminyu Model District.” Currently, RSU is headed by Heiko Kent as president. Zukeya Woch is supervising the platinum jubilee cum general conference organizing committee as convener.
