The RSUD organized a programme to honour successful HSLC and HSSLC candidates.
Dimapur, June 30 (MExN): The Rongmei Student's Union Dimapur (RSUD) organized a felicitation program at the Tourist Lodge to honor students who successfully passed the HSLC and HSSLC examinations.
The program was chaired by Suriakthailu Longmei, Secretary of the Union Assembly, and commenced with an invocation by Gaichanglung Kamei, Youth Director of ZBC Chumukedima. In his welcome address, Gaichamlung Gonmei, President of the Rongmei Students' Union Dimapur, expressed pride in the students' accomplishments and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence.
Special invitees Kambui Dangmei, Joint Secretary of the Tenyimi Union Dimapur, and Sotilo Seb, President of the Tenyimi Students' Union Dimapur, also spoke to the students. “This achievement is just the beginning. Aim higher and continue to work hard for your future,” urged Dangmei.
The program was graced by the presence Salem Yang Gangmei, member of the Collective Leadership, NSCN/GPRN; Panti Kamei, member of the Nagaland Peoples Movement for Human Rights (NPMHR); and Kevin Gonmei, Education Secretary of the Dimapur Naga Students' Union. Each offered words of encouragement to the students. “Your success is a testament to your hard work and dedication. Keep pushing forward,” advised Gangmei.
A special song was presented by Jaojenlu, followed by a blessing prayer for the successful students led by Thanlouthai Kamei, Director of BYF, Rongmei Baptist Church, Burma Camp. The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Jinthuilung Phaomei, General Secretary of RSUD.
