Dimapur, September 26 (MExN): The Rongmei Students Union Dimapur (RSUD) observed its 29th foundation day and installed new office bearers for the tenure of 2019-2022 at Rongmei Customary Court, Burma camp on September 22.
A press release issued by Raajellung Gonmei, Convener, Search Committee RSUD stated that introduction and welcome address was delivered by Kambui Dangmei, senior member of RSUD and former General Secretary of DNSU. Exhortation speeches were delivered by Thaban Rongmei, President Rongmei Community Dimapur; Againa Gonmei, President of Rongmei Women Society Dimapur and Makuran Dangmei President of Rongmei Youth Club Dimapur.
Raajellung Gonmei, Convener while reading out a brief report of the search committee for new team of RSUD stated that Chunthailung Kamei was re-elected for the new tenure along with some old colleagues also with newly elevated members from executives.
The newly installed office bearers for the tenure 2019-2022 are: President, Chunthailung Kamei; Vice President, Lanilu Kamson; General Secretary, Lankhonlu Gonmei; Assistant General Secretary, Sangamlung Dangmei; Finance Secretary, Lanthui Kamei; Secretary Information & Publicity, Bruno Kamei; Secretary Education & Statistic, Namjaigai Longmei; Secretary Social & Culture, Elizabeth Dangmei; Secretary Games & Sports, Michael Malangmei; Speaker, Maringanglu Christina and Assembly Secretary, Pouhiam Gangmei.
