DIMAPUR, DECEMBER 18 (MExN): An application under Right to Information (RTI) has been filed by a social activist from Kohima in reference to ‘non-installation’ of LN 2 Plant (LINDE) machine under the State Directorate of Veterinary & Animal Husbandry. The application was filed on the grounds that the aforementioned department had ordered for supply, a LN 2 Plant (LINDE) machine from S. S. Serviced, Guwahati at the cost of Rs. 103 lakhs in the year 1999 for installation at Veterinary complex, Mokokchung.
While conveying knowledge of the fact that the said machine had already been supplied by making full payment to the contracting firm by the department, the application pointed out that till date, the machine had not been installed by the firm. The applicant has sought reasons from the department in concern as to why the machine had not yet been installed failing which it stated that the State Vigilance is competent to take stock and do the needful.
