Kohima, May 3 (MExN): The office of the Ruovi Village Level Organisation (VLO) Zhadima was inaugurated by Seyiekhrielie Rio, Block Development Officer (BDO), RD Chiephobozou on May 2. Ruovi Village Level Organisation (VLO) Zhadima is a conglomeration of 19 Self Help groups (SHGs) in Zhadima Village in Kohima district.
Addressing the gathering, Rio lauded the members of the VLO for availing loans and initiating start-ups and encouraged other members to also follow suit. He assured of the government’s support towards the VLO in all possible ways. Rio commended the Ruovi VLO for its annual cleanliness drives, which extend to local schools and hospitals. Rio also challenged the VLO to adopt a forward-thinking approach and reiterated his office's commitment to supporting their endeavors.
The programme was chaired by Vilhoubeinuo, MBK Ruovi VLO. Zhadima Village Council Chairman, Neilalhoulie Soliezuo delivered greetings. Zhadima VDB secretary Roko Angami also exhorted the gathering. A brief account of the VLO office was highlighted by Ameü.
