Rural Haat at Doyapur Village inaugurated

Dimapur, August 7 (MExN): Rural Haat at Doyapur Village under Dimapur district was inaugurated on August 6. The Rural Haat was built with the financial support of NABARD, Dimapur and implemented by the Doyapur Village Council. L Leivang, General Manager of NABARD, Nagaland Regional Office along with Phiju Langthasa, Head GB Doyapur Village, Kumud Sengyung, Chairman, Doyapur Village Council and Khehuto Kiho, Chairman Douapur Bazaar Committee inaugurated the Rural Haat.  Doyapur Bazaar Committee, Secretary Thangnodao Naiding in a press release stated that “the Rural Haat is expected to ease the issues of marketing and sales of farmers’ produce of the villages under the Doyapur Village Council. The Rural Haat is also expected to empower the local farmer in the sale of their produce.”
