Kohima, May 19 (MExN): Block level training programme for BP/GP on Saakshar Bharat organized by the state resource centre Tripura in collaboration with the SLMA Nagaland & DLMA Tuensang was held at ADC’s office Longkhim on May 17 for the Blocks of Longkhim and Chare.
SRC Tripura Director Prantosh Dutta gave power presentation on roles, responsibilities, financial and administration powers of the programme to the participants for its smooth implementation of Adult Education centres (AEC) and Literacy centres (LC). District co-coordinator Tuensang R. Likokmong in a press communiqué stated that unlike the previous TLC programme, the programme included more activities such as functional literacy, basic education, vocational & Skill development and continuing education programme to cover all the rural areas in four districts in Nagaland those who were missed the opportunity de to any reason. Head DB Longkhum Khumpise Sangtam also delivered short speech.
