
Zunheboto, November 4 (MExN): The Sumi Aphuyemi Hoho (SAH) has welcomed the outcome of the talks between NSCN (IM) and the Government of India.
Stating their belief in wisdom, the SAH appreciated the negotiating parties for peaceful solution to the Naga problem.
SAH in a press release issued by Inavi Swu President, Ghuzui Shohe General Secretary and KA Jacob Information & Publicity Secretary also expressed its appreciation to the Working Committee of NNPGs, NGOs, various Tribal Hohos and RN Ravi, the Governor of Nagaland and the representative of the Government of India for Naga Talks for bringing the talks to the logical conclusion.
“Peace cannot be achieved only one sided but the efforts of the collective organisation is required for lasting solution,” the Hoho held, while appealing to the people of the North Eastern states like Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh to understand that “peace that prevails in Nagaland can bear fruit not only in Nagaland but they too will enjoy the fruit of peace in their state.”
Meanwhile, it has “appealed particularly to NGOs of Manipur not to polarise the society on tribal line or caste to create more problems but be sensible to create congenial atmosphere for lasting peace in the region.”
