Punglwa, October 17 (MExN): The staffs of Sainik School, Punglwa conducted promotional lecture for Entrance Exam to Sainik School 2019-20 at the Auditorium of Bn HQ, Wokha on October 16. A total of 156 students participated in the function, a press release informed.
It also informed that the registration for the academic session 2019-20 has commenced for VI class and IX.
School Staff, Tsonthonga highlighted on the facilities that the school provides including staked library, good laboratories, sports facilities etc. He informed that the school is fully residential run on boarding school lines. The school is affiliated to CBSE, New Delhi. Admissions are based on entrance test followed by interview and medical examination.
The Defence Ministry which runs 22 Sainik Schools across the country, has started examining the possibility of girls at Sainik School which can be seen as the first step towards entry of woman into National Defence Academy.
