Sakraba Students’ Union general session conducted

Parliamentary Secretary for Higher & Technical Education Deo Nukhu today graced the 51st general session of Sakraba Students’ Union (SSU) at Sakraba town under Phek district.  

Speaking on the occasion, Nukhu was all praise the good number of primary students from Sakraba, which, he said, was an indication of the bright future prospects of the village. Touching on the session’s theme ‘Living above Mediocrity,’ he appreciated the Sakraba village for its leading role in agriculture sector. He also called upon the students to give their best and excel in the various fields.

Nukhu also appealed the students to develop work culture and involve in manual works even after their graduation and post graduation which would enhance their skills in earning their livelihood.  

Chakhesang Students’ Union (CSU) president Dode Nakro also shared greetings while Nierayi D. Vadeo, chairman Sakraba Village Council exhorted the gathering.  

SSU former president Lehii Lohe acted as the session speaker while SSU former president Kiihiisheyi D. Vadeo acted as critic of the debating hour on the topic “Using of phone in students life.”  

Earlier, SSU president Hiikhoto D. Vadeo delivered presidential address while SSU general secretary Shekho Ciikhamu highlighted the union activities.  

Thenunii Lohe and Vemiitha Kero, both SSU advisors chaired the inaugural and valedictory service respectively.
