Salesian College, Dimapur, staged a musical adaptation of “I Can Only Imagine.

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 2 (MExN): Salesian College, Dimapur, staged a musical adaptation of “I Can Only Imagine”, the popular song by Christian band MercyMe, in a two-day performance held on September 27 and 28.

The one-and-a-half-hour production was inspired by the life of songwriter Bart Millard, his relationship with his father, and his reflections on heaven. The play was staged for the youth who visit the institution on Sundays.

Rector Fr Elow Samuel welcomed the audience and expressed gratitude for their support of the Brothers. He highlighted the importance of dramatics and theatre in education, noting their role in the holistic development of students.

Special recognition was given to Fr Hriiyio Michael, who directed the play, and to assistants John Newmei, PK Paul, Titus Panmei, along with the student cast, for their teamwork and dedication.

The event showcased music, drama and dance, offering a heartfelt tribute to faith and resilience while celebrating the talents of the students.
