Sandra Bullock is no longer in contact with ex-husband Jesse James‘ daughter Sunny. The Blind Side actress — who split from the actor last year after nearly five years of marriage following allegations he had affairs with other women — has cut all ties with the seven-year-old girl, who she helped raise between 2005 and 2010, according to the youngster’s mother Janine Lindemulder. “Sandra doesn’t communicate anymore with Sunny. Sunny never talks about her,” Janine told a tabloid.
But Janine admitted she holds no “grudges” against the 47-year-old star — who adopted 19-month boy, Louis, as a single parent in January 2010, four years after her and Jesse had begun the initial process — for not contacting her daughter because she has her own child to look after. “I don’t bear any grudges against Sandra. She has her own son to raise,” she said.
An insider explained Sandra — who previously told a judge of her “commitment” to Sunny during Jesse’s 2009 custody battle with Janine — felt she “had to move on” from the 42-year-old star, but did not intend to “hurt” Sunny. “The last thing she wanted to do was hurt Sunny. But she had to do what was best for her,” the source added.
