Sangkhu Sangmang Youth, Chongpho Khel in Tuensang village is organising free basic guitar training starting from September 21 till October 16.
Altogether, 31 people between the ages of 10 to 40 years along with a group of women called Sangkhu Sangmang Sheian are being trained by four trainers.
One of the organising members said, “the objective behind it was to encourage young people in music and through the training they receive here, they will use it to glorify God. As encouraging as it is for us, a group of women folk have also joined us. They want to learn how to play guitar and to do more for Christ through music,” he added.
A thanksgiving programme will be held after the training at Tuensang village when the training concludes.
