Sanitary napkin vending machine installed in Cornerstone College

Dimapur, March 6 (MExN): Cornerstone Institute installed a sanitary napkin vending machine in the campus to mark the celebration of International Women’s Day on March 6.Held in collaboration with Community Health Initiative, around 500 students along with the college management and Chairman Dr Sashimeren Aier participated in the programme. CHI Director Loreni Sophia who was the main speaker for the seminar cum workshop, covered the subject matters from female hygiene, reproductive health and proper disposal of the sanitary pads. According to a press release from the institute, the vending machine will dispense ‘Biodegradable Sanitary Anion Napkin Pads’ at a student friendly low cost of Rs 5.
