Dimapur, March 13 (MExN): All health units under Chief Medical Officer Dimapur are informed that social work and sanitation drive will be held every last Saturday of the month with effect from March 2018 in all Health Units. Dimapur CMO Dr. K. Vikato Kinimi stated in a press release that the decision to conduct monthly sanitation drive has been taken unanimously by all the members during the Monthly District Health Review Meeting held on March 8 at Chief Medical Officer’s office.
The decision was taken to keep all Health Units clean and sanitary, keeping in mind the increase of vector borne and water borne diseases during the summer season. This Sanitation Drive also aims to create public awareness on keeping a clean surrounding and thereby achieving a healthy environment. All Health Units are, therefore, requested to comply with the above directive.
