CHÜMOUKEDIMA, OCTOBER 16 (MExN): The Sansad Khel Mahotsav 2025 will be organised across all districts of Nagaland from October 29, under the initiative of the Office of the Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Nagaland, in collaboration with the respective district administrations.
According to a press release issued by Tenyebinlo Himb, Press Secretary to S. Phangnon Konyak, Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha), Nagaland, the event aligns with the vision of the Fit India Movement and reflects the MP’s commitment to empowering youth and promoting a vibrant sports culture in the State.
The Sansad Khel Mahotsav seeks to identify and nurture sporting talent at the grassroots level while encouraging wider participation in both indigenous and mainstream sports. It also aims to instil the values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance among the youth.
“The Sansad Khel Mahotsav embodies the Hon’ble MP’s vision of creating more avenues for the youth of Nagaland to shine, both within and beyond the State. Through this platform, she hopes to inspire a culture where sports are celebrated not just as competition but as a way of life that promotes unity, health, and confidence,” the Press Secretary stated.
Phangnon Konyak has appealed to athletes and sports enthusiasts across Nagaland to participate actively with dedication and discipline, and to showcase the sporting spirit and youthful energy of the State.
