Sanu Gupta wins FREE 3-Yr GNIIT Course at NIIT Dimapur

Dimapur, October 29 (MExN): Sanu Gupta, daughter of late Prahlad Gupta and Baby Gupta became the lucky winner of the Free GNIIT course worth Rs.1.72 Lakh at NIIT Dimapur Center today on Saturday the 29th October. She has passed in 1st division in both HSLC (Bronson School) and HSSLC (SD Jain Hr Sec School). Currently, she is in the 4th semester pursuing her B.Com from SD Jain Girl’s College. She is a resident of Burma Camp, Dimapur where her mother runs a grocery shop with her sons.   Om Prakash Sethi, President, Jain Samaj & Marwari Samaj and K. K. Paul (Advocate), President Bengali Samaj and Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Dimapur District Branch did the honors of drawing out the winner.   Earlier, Ajay Sethi, Director NIIT Dimapur lamented the fact that only 30 candidates had applied for the job-guaranteed free GNIIT scheme despite Nagaland having 1 Lakh unemployed youth. He hoped that the various leaders would pro-actively spread any such schemes’ information in future to the respective communities in a time bound manner to benefit them. Also, he requested all the communities to create broadcast groups of group-wise blood donors on whatsapp to effectively help in any emergencies. Congratulating the free course winner, he also exhorted other applicants to remain in touch with the center so that his team could assist them in getting governmental or NGOs assistance for pursuing diploma courses with NIIT. This is a CSR activity of the company celebrating the completion of 35 years of NIIT nationally & 16 years in Nagaland.   Daniel Changkiri, Group Leader of NIIT Dimapur hosted the programme while Firoz Ali, GNIITian shared his views on GNIIT program. It may be noted that Sanu will be learning high-end technologies viz. Java, HTML5, Jquery, Tally, SQL, Oracle, Mobile Apps, Data structures, Cloud Applications etc. under 6-Term GNIIT Program besides select following i.e. Enterprise Java Stack with DevOps, Big Data & Data Sciences, MEAN Stack, Cloud Stack, Internet of Things, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence etc. in the digital transformation term with internship. Sanu still cannot believe that she is the lucky winner & expressed her gratitude to all the NIIT team members, particularly Aliya Feroz for making her aware about the scheme.
